Let's talk about your project

Frame Group delivered the design and construction management of this popular multi-purpose track linking Te Whiti Park to the summit of the Eastern Hutt Hills. The 3.7 km trail climbs gently to 173 metres, following a consistent 7 percent gradient that makes it accessible and enjoyable for a wide range of users.

Designed with both walkers and cyclists in mind, the track features resilient all-weather surfacing, effective drainage, and a well-graded alignment suited to all fitness levels. The project included a new boardwalk section and incorporated digital terrain modelling to ensure durability and environmental sensitivity.

The Te Whiti Riser has become a well-used connection between the urban edge and nearby trail networks, including Waiu Park and East Harbour Regional Park, offering sweeping views over the Hutt Valley.
