Frame Group was engaged by Auckland Council to assess and redesign access structures and informal coastal protection features at Clarks Beach, where aging timber steps and ad-hoc bank stabilisation works were no longer fit for purpose. Working collaboratively with the council’s coastal team, we developed upgraded access solutions and bank protection using durable materials and sustainable design strategies.

Our work delivered formal designs that replaced degraded stairs and enhanced site resilience, while enabling council to meet consent requirements and streamline future maintenance. The project highlights our strength in practical coastal infrastructure and partnership-focused delivery.
