Frame Group was engaged by Auckland Council to assess and redesign a network of shared paths within a new subdivision in Drury, South Auckland. The developer-constructed tracks were significantly below standard and located within overland flow paths, creating flooding risks and poor usability.
As part of a concept design phase, Frame Group assessed the existing infrastructure and provided practical upgrade recommendations to bring the paths up to council standards. The proposed solutions included surface upgrades, installation of culverts and new bridges to improve resilience and long-term performance in this flood-prone urban area.
