This local walking track forms part of a wider network of community connections across Wellington’s hills. Frame Group was engaged to help complete one of the most technically challenging gaps, a steep fault-line corridor linking Satara Crescent to Ridvan Grove.

Using a combination of geospatial design tools and traditional field-based ground-truthing, our team developed a practical trail alignment that navigates significant geotechnical and environmental constraints. The design supports safe public access and is tailored for construction by community volunteers, helping foster local ownership and long-term stewardship.
