Let's talk about your project

As part of Hamilton’s 30-year vision to restore native vegetation across the city, Frame Group supported the first phase of the Nature in the City programme with a comprehensive feasibility study for new walking and cycling connections. These tracks were designed to provide access to restored gully environments while supporting broader goals of biodiversity, community recreation and sustainable transport.

The study covered six key reserves and assessed technical viability using GIS-based alignment planning and on-site validation. Our scope included surfacing, drainage, structure requirements and high-level cost schedules, all aligned with SNZ and NZ Cycle Trail standards. The outcome was a staged implementation roadmap that helps Hamilton City Council connect its people to nature and bring its ecological restoration goals to life.
