Let's talk about your project

When structural integrity concerns forced the closure of the popular flying fox at Minogue Park, Hamilton City Council engaged Frame Group to assess and restore the structure. Our inspection revealed design errors with connections at the base of the key timber support posts, requiring urgent intervention.

We designed a custom stainless steel base plate system to safely support the existing timber posts and bring the flying fox back into safe operation. By providing specialist engineering input on this small but important project, we resolved a problem that had previously thwarted maintenance efforts, and ensured a practical, safe and timely outcome for the community.
